Senior Production Manager Summary/Objective:
The Production Manager reports directly to the Senior Production Manager but works with his Account Managers to serve our clients and team.
This is a working field position where 70% of your time is spent working with crews to help equip them to be more effective crew leaders.
This is a management position and therefore requires a certain amount of daily preparation and leadership.
As leaders in the company, you are also responsible for modeling and enforcing all policies and procedures including uniform dress codes and safety policies.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Works with all crews to ensure the same level of quality is maintained Ensures that all safety policies are enforced Works with the Operations Manager to maximize crew routes and hours Monitors the quality of work by routinely inspecting job sites Trains and develops team members in proper horticulture and equipment techniques Manages crew equipment inventory and repair issues Communicates effectively via phone, email, text and face to face meetings with clients, vendors and internal team members
Qualifications:
A landscape professional with a positive and engaging interpersonal style Degree in Horticulture or a related major is preferred but not required Knowledge of Spanish a plus Strong horticulture knowledge and license is preferred Three to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm Knowledge of southern climate horticultural practices and high-level property maintenance experience a plus Superb communication skills Must be able to multitask and prioritize Must have a valid Drivers License Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop or kneel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
